HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Today my parents are celebrating their wedding anniversary.. Yes, they made it through the years.. they've been both very faithful with their marriage vows.. I am a witness how they work hard to keep the warmth of their marriage and keep our family together.. I know their marriage isn't that perfect.. Does perfect marriage exist?! Na-ah! But their marriage's imperfections made them stick together.. made them perfect for each other!

As they continue to count the years together, I hope and pray that God will keep them healthy, strong and faithful..

Whew!

I've been damn busy! yeah! so-so busy the past few weeks.. Like what I have posted previously.. I am now assuming a new post in the office.. and guess what... I am liking it! the job is very challenging yet fulfilling..

I am processing my US Visa, am hoping to fly to the US this August or September (short business trip) --- hope i'll get mutliple entry! waaaa-hhh! you know how hard it is to get a US Visa here in our country! good thing my company is processing it for me..

At home.. we get to go out every weekend as a family..

am able to spend longer hours with my kiddo..

my mom stays with us during weekdays to take care of our kiddo.. and not only that, she does all the work for me! I love you mom!!

we had some celebration the past weeks.. Hmmm.. my dad celebrated his birthday.. It was a blast!!!

Kiddo attended a lot of birthday parties.. and he had so much fun

with Junior Ronald Mcdonald's and Kuya Nehemiah!

Time Out!

Monday Holiday.. Yes, we are celebrating Independence Day and its holiday here in Manila.. (actually, its supposed to be tomorrow but was moved to have long weekend..)Yey! Our LiL Family went on a picnic today.. Yeah! It was great! Am just so glad that we were able to take some time off, relax, bond and have fun! We didn't really have much preparation.. We went there with our aunts and our cousins.. It was great because there were tall trees (that we can't see in the heart of the metro..), nice place to play, butterfly farm, nice and cool spots and a huge swimming pool!

this is my all time fav resto.. I just love their mozarella cheese roll, their steak and their super big and yummy burgers.. The place is very nice and their service people are very customer service oriented!
Hmmm.. can't wait for my next visit!

2. Mcdonald's - To fill in your hungry stomach, let's eat at Mcdonald's.. they're everywhere and servicing 24 hours! Whee! I love their Quarter Pounder Cheese Burger.. Hmmm.. can i have more pickles and mustard please..

3. Kenny Rogers - When I am craving for roasted chix.. This is the place to be.. They have great food.. The side dishes are so-so yummy!

4. Tokyo Tokyo - for Japanese meals that are light and within the budget margin, come and dine at Tokyo Tokyo.. They serve good japanese food.. Happy JAPANICE DAY! 5. Max's Fried Chix.. - I dunno if other countries have Max's Fried Chix.. They cook their chix differently.. I dunno how they do it, but believe me, its so delicious.. (SARAP to the BONES) meaning, super delicious to the point you would want to eat the bones too.. It's a must try when you come and visit Philippines..

'been Busy..

This week has been so heavy.. Finally, after a very long wait, I am now assuming a new role, here in our office.. Service to Sales will be pushing through this month and I will get to pilot the team which will deliver sales!

Whee! I have mixed emotions.. Am pretty excited starting this project.. Am a lil nervous on how I would start things.. and am also a bit scared of what the outcome would be... I hope I'll get things through...

My boss from the US arrived Monday evening.. As usual, we had the meet and greet.. She is one fine and typical american looking lady.. We were introduced to each other.. said.. Hi and hello.. We had breakfast at Shang-rila, Makati (CIRCLES) to have some time to bond and know a lil bit more about each other.. We were with other company big bosses, and peers.. We had a good time.. The place was very nice and the food was oh-so yummy!

The last couple of days were very busy days.. I was on training and my schedule was very hectic.. I am one sleepy head everytime I get home.. Got not much time with the LiL kiddo recently.. Awww! I hope I can make it up to you darling..

Sales has been my first love.. This makes my brain work.. This makes me feel so energetic and enthusiatic.. This brings out best and bright ideas.. This gives me challenge.. I hope I'd be successful on this project...

I miss ya'll! How are you? Hope you are all doin' fine.. I've been very busy the past few days.. My parents finally moved to their new home.. Everybody in the family is so-so excited to arrange and decorate the house.. We bought some new stuff to put in their new lil home..

Kiddo got the measles last week.. It wasn't really bad but his eyes were really watery.. he still has colds and cough though.. at least no fever... and he is feelin' a lot better now.. thank God!!!

2 years and counting...

Big Daddy and I celebrated our 2nd year wedding anniversary..

For the past few days, I was really trying to plan on how we would celebrate this very important and special day.. We had dinner at Friday's.. Yum! Yum! As usual, the food was so-so delicious! I was so full! We had Jack Daniel's chop and chicken and the Friday's best burger! Big servings!

Can't wait for my next visit!!!

Big Daddy also reserved an overnight stay at very nice hotel.. That's where we spent the night together! Hmmmm.. hahahhahah!

... and for his anniversary gift he got me a technomarine watch! I have always wanted to own one.. and I was saving for it for the longest time.. Argh! The most affordable watch they have costs roughly 250USD and that's around 12500 Philippine Peso.. Big Bucks! I was so touched that Daddy bought me this watch with mother of pearl face.. Big Daddy knows me very well.. He chose the white face with white bracelet.. (and techno watch comes with an extra transparent bracelet)

I wasn't able to prepare and get him an anniversary gift. Had no time to go to the mall and buy him a surprise anniversary present.. I should get one before weekend.. Hmmm.. But i just thought, didn't I give him the best gift ever?! and that's me and our lil kiddo.. hahahhah!

Last Holy week, I am so blessed that our lil family was able to relax.. We went out of town.. Wheee! I just want to share some photos..

Thursday Thirteen

It's been quite some time since I last played Thursday 13.. I just wanna share..

Kiddo is really growing up fast.. Oh yes he is..

Kiddo's lil achievements @ 1 year old and 6 months...
1. He walks fast.. and runs faster..
2. Most of the time, when he falls/stumbles he gets up real quick without crying! Brave boy!
3. He can now get up the ladder.. But that makes my knees shake! He can't get up the ladder this early! Na-ah!
4. He can turn on/off the TV.. using the power button and/or the clicker..
5. He knows where he'll get his shoes when we are goin' out..
6. He holds the soap and dipper like an adult.
7. At 1 he can catch a ball.. (mind you, not the tiny lil ball, the real ball they use in playing basket ball..

8. He folds his hands to pray before eating..
9. He dances and sings whenever he hears music!
10. He sips his drinks wiithout spill! (that's with our without straw!)
11. He holds and uses his spoon very well..
12. He holds the pencil like a gradeschool student..
13. He can now utter words with one syllable.. e.g. car, bus, please, kiss, juice, text, fish (of course he can't say it that straight!)
some words he can utter that aren't one syllable.. dada(for daddy), nyanya (for mommy), papa (that's how he calls my dad), mama (that's how he calls my mom and MIL)

Impressive! I am such proud momma!

Need help..

Come April 23rd, Big Daddy and I would be celebrating our 2nd year Wedding Anniversary.. Yipee!

I want to make this day extra special.. I honestly don't know if Big Daddy's planning on somethin.. Should I ask?! Na-ah! of course I wouldn't ask him.. But what if he isn't preparing for somethin'? What if he doesn't remember? Argh!

I really wanna make that day so-so memorable.. I want to let him know that marrying him was the best choice and decision I made in my life.. I just love him sooooo much!!!

Hair no more..

Last holy wednesday, hubby and I decided to give kiddo some sort of a new look.. Okay.. after a long deliberation, we came up with a decision and that is to give kiddo a new hair cut.. Here in our country, most parents, have their kids' hair shaved once they turn 1 year old.. They said that hair will grow thicker once you shaved it.. But when the kiddo turned 1, I opted not to have his hair shaved.. we just had him a good hair cut.. anyways he has pretty, black and thick hair.. (he got it from his mom! hahahha!)

I think on my previous blog, I mentioned that Kiddo has developed this stranger anxiety thing.. He doesn't like to be touched by people he doesn't see very often.. Example, his pedia, hair cutter, sales peeps etc..

Okay, so since we have decided to shave his hair, we asked his good uncle Miggy to do the works.. Thanks Mig!

Maundy Thursday came, after church (we had worship service in celebration for the Last Supper).. the works started.. You guessed it so-so right... Kiddo, cried so hard! He vomitted like 5 times during the session.. Poor kiddo..

After the long battle and cry.. Alas! He finally got his new looks.. hahahhaha! He is sooooooo cute!

Been out for couple of days... didn't have much time for blogging..
I just drop by to ask for your prayers for my lil kiddo.. he is sick again.. He has that tough cough and colds.. Big Daddy's guilty, kiddo probably got it from him.. He's fever has been on and off.. He is now under medication. I hope he'll get well real soon.. Poor kiddo.. I can tell he feels so weak..
Though he still tries to smile every now and then to make me feel okay..
He doesn't want to eat.. He just loves to drink his fruit juice.. (all time fav -- Grapes!)
Again, please pray for my kiddo.. Am sick too.. but i can manage.. But seein' my kiddo not feelin' well is somethin' that's hard to bear..
