Lil excited and a bit sad...

Come Friday, I'll be flyin' to the US for business trip and vacation..
I have not packed my things yet.. I dunno how to start.. or am probably trying to delay it.. because there are things holding me back.. yeah.. there really are.. some things.. and two boys..

This opportunity makes me excited.. This is ain't my first time to travel outside the Philippines but I guess US is one of the best places to see.. I've heard so many things about the country.. I have worked and is still working for an american portfolio.. I have american friends.. I have dealt with so many americans for years now.. And its time for me to see the real thing.. I mean, to see their inside world.. How does America smell?? ......

I'll be travelling without my two boys.. and this makes me a lil sad and lonely.. I have never been away from 'em even for a day or two..

I'll just be in the US for a month.. But it seems to me that it'll be a long time.. I'll miss our weekends together.. I'll miss our car rides.. I'll miss holding my boys' hands.. I'll miss kissing 'em.. I'll miss our bonding moments.. I'll miss lookin' at 'em while they are both sleeping.. I'll miss the Boys I love!
As I travel, may the Lord hold the planes that I'll be riding.. May He keep me safe and secure.. And while I'm away, may He watch over my two boys and keep us all safe!

I am scheduled to fly to the US this October 26.. Yeah.. My job calls for it. This has been planned and originally was scheduled last August.. But due to heavy work load, t'was rescheduled.. Am stayin' in LA for a week.. purely for business..

After doin' the stuff I need to accomplish, am flying to TX for a vacation.. I'd be staying in my bro in-law's homey.. They just bought a new house..and i'd be their first visitor! Yey!!After that, am flying to CA, to visit my sissy in-law.. she's scheduled to give birth on Oct22..(C-section).. I'd spend the rest of my vacation with her family.. I am very excited! Disneyland here I come!!!

I'd be back home last week of November..

I'd be leaving hubby and lil kiddo here.. I'll be gone for a month.. and its a long time.. I have not been far away from 'em.. I'll surely miss my boys.. I sure will......

Mommy would be back home... I'd be back..

Multiple! Multiple! Multiple!

Heya! This blog should've been posted a week ago... but as usual, I've been so-so busy working.. I think I mentioned on my previous entry that I was scheduled to arrange my papers for a US Visa interview.. Whew! Here in our country getting approved for a Visa is like winning in slot machine! Hhahahah! I would say, that there is a very little chance to get approved.. Regardless of job, earnings, properties owned, money in the bank, marital status etc..

Anywhooo, last July 17th I was scheduled for an interview.. Though, the company sponsored my application, I mean is backing up my application.. I still felt so nervous and stressed.. Probably I was just too scared to be the first one in the company to get denied for an entry in the US.. My schedule was at 7:15am.. As instructed, I needed to be at embassy an hour before my scheduled time.. so.. there I was around 6am.. (i was with 2 other colleagues) fallling in line.. a very long line... Upon entry, my papers were checked.. I was given a number ... 2105.. The clock was ticking.. and my number hasn't been called yet.. Argh! coming from work.. no sleep.. hungry.. nervous... everything! I wanna throw up! honestly!!! hahahhaa!

2015.. Ding! that's my number.. had my fingers scanned... went to the interviewing lobby... 2015! ding! window 4... i was standing in front of the consul.. (i felt that my knees were shaking..) hahahha.. but i pretended to be so relaxed...

CONSUL: why do you want to go to the United States? (this is the most famous question)
ME: I am a project head for a service to sales project which we would be piloting here Manila for... (our company)... I would need to see how our US counterparts do the business so we can start it right here..
CONSUL: Are you married?
ME: yes!
CONSUL: Where does your husband work?
ME: he works in a call center here as..._________
CONSUL: do you have children?
ME: i have one lil kid..
CONSUL: Congratulations! Your Visa got approved! Proceed to Delbros to arrange its delivery..
ME: thanks!

I was expecting that I'd get a business visa type (B1).. After 2 days... I got my passport/visa... and guess what?! They gave me multiple entry to the US for 10 years having business visa (B1) and pleasure visa type (B2).. Yehey!!!!!

I am so happy! Thank God!!! Wheeeeeeee!

Whew!

I've been damn busy! yeah! so-so busy the past few weeks.. Like what I have posted previously.. I am now assuming a new post in the office.. and guess what... I am liking it! the job is very challenging yet fulfilling..

I am processing my US Visa, am hoping to fly to the US this August or September (short business trip) --- hope i'll get mutliple entry! waaaa-hhh! you know how hard it is to get a US Visa here in our country! good thing my company is processing it for me..

At home.. we get to go out every weekend as a family..

am able to spend longer hours with my kiddo..

my mom stays with us during weekdays to take care of our kiddo.. and not only that, she does all the work for me! I love you mom!!

we had some celebration the past weeks.. Hmmm.. my dad celebrated his birthday.. It was a blast!!!

Kiddo attended a lot of birthday parties.. and he had so much fun

with Junior Ronald Mcdonald's and Kuya Nehemiah!

'been Busy..

This week has been so heavy.. Finally, after a very long wait, I am now assuming a new role, here in our office.. Service to Sales will be pushing through this month and I will get to pilot the team which will deliver sales!

Whee! I have mixed emotions.. Am pretty excited starting this project.. Am a lil nervous on how I would start things.. and am also a bit scared of what the outcome would be... I hope I'll get things through...

My boss from the US arrived Monday evening.. As usual, we had the meet and greet.. She is one fine and typical american looking lady.. We were introduced to each other.. said.. Hi and hello.. We had breakfast at Shang-rila, Makati (CIRCLES) to have some time to bond and know a lil bit more about each other.. We were with other company big bosses, and peers.. We had a good time.. The place was very nice and the food was oh-so yummy!

The last couple of days were very busy days.. I was on training and my schedule was very hectic.. I am one sleepy head everytime I get home.. Got not much time with the LiL kiddo recently.. Awww! I hope I can make it up to you darling..

Sales has been my first love.. This makes my brain work.. This makes me feel so energetic and enthusiatic.. This brings out best and bright ideas.. This gives me challenge.. I hope I'd be successful on this project...
